Get to Know Amy
Licensed Clinical Social Worker using psychodynamic approach combined with several trauma informed models. I help individuals make connections to their past and help them see how it exists in their present lives. I believe that our past experiences, especially painful one, have the tendency to get stored or stuck within us. Although these experiences have shaped us, they can also create negative thoughts and feelings that can be accompanied by patterns of behaviors that subconsciously fulfill the negative. I believe in the power of the mind. I believe in vulnerability as a method of healing and building connection with one another. I am hoping to help guide as many as I can towards healing, happiness, and human connectedness, all of which we all deserve.

I welcome all who are ready to begin the journey towards healing. As an EMDR clinician I am able to help heal trauma, and then integrate CBT to help change the way your brain thinks.
